Health Fairs Program Coordinator – (Full-time) Bilingual
Position Emphasis:  Coordinates health fairs and other health education and outreach events.  Recruits and coordinates promotores de salud (lay health educators).  Organizes annual training for new promotores and additional trainings throughout the year.  Collects and analyzes participant data and assists in preparing reports for grantors.  Minimum Education Requirement:  Bachelor’s degree in health or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Minimum Qualifications:   Requires previous work experience in health education and/or clinical experience. Certification in a medically-related field, preferred.  Ability and willingness to work with a variety of community organizations and individuals, including clergy members.  Ability/willingness to work weekends and some evenings.  Knowledge of Latino immigrant community and ability to work with all segments of the community. Fully Bilingual Spanish-English.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel or other database software.   Salary Range:  $30, 309 - $33,340 (full-time equivalent), plus benefits. Transgender Program Coordinator– (Full-time) Bilingual
Position Emphasis:  This position will work within the HIV/AIDS Department to coordinate an MPowerment intervention targeting transgender Latinas between the ages of 18 and 24 in order to reduce the incidence of HIV within the community.  Minimum Education Requirement:  Two years college or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Minimum Qualifications:  Two years minimum experience working in HIV prevention and/or with service delivery with transgender Latinas; experience working with sexual minority youth preferred. Knowledge of Latino immigrant community and ability to work with all segments of the community.  Experience with group-level, individual-level, and street outreach HIV prevention interventions; experience with the Mpowerment intervention, preferred.  Experience with program development and implementation, including work plans, budgets, and reports, preferred.  High motivation for work in HIV prevention field and strong ethical core.   Bilingual-fluent in Spanish and English. Ability to work evenings and weekends.  Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) preferred.  Salary Range: $31,982 - $34,000, plus benefits. Closing Date:  Until Filled.  EOE

Grants & Contracts Manager (Full-time)
Position Emphasis:  Under the direction of the Director of Grants & Contracts, and in collaboration with the Executive Director, the Grants & Contracts Manager supervises all of La Clínica’s grant preparation and reporting activities. Supervises staff that prepares and manages proposals for grants in accordance with funder’s policies and legal requirements.  Prepares proposals and administers major contracts.   Minimum Education Requirement:  Bachelor degree.  Minimum Qualifications:    Three years prior non-profit experience in the field.  Previous supervisory, project management and budget experience.  Knowledge of applicable laws/policies/principles of the field.  Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.  Bilingual-Spanish and English, preferred.  MS Office and Internet computer experience.  Salary Range:   $43, 580 - $45, 760 annually, excellent benefits. Family Physician (Full-time) Bilingual
Position Emphasis:  Under the general direction of the Medical Director and Lead Clinician, the Family Physician will be responsible for treating members of the family, regardless of age or sex, with a broad range of medical concerns, including routine physicals, HIV, prenatal and chronic medical illnesses.   The position will assist in supervising the services given by mid-level providers and ancillary staff in order to ensure high quality care.  Minimum Education Requirement:  MD or DO from an accredited Medical or Osteopathic SchoolMinimum Qualifications:  Board Certification American Board of Family Physicians.  Must possess a current license or be eligible to obtain a license to practice in the District of Columbia; also requires a current DEA number.  Requires 3 years of prior experience; to include OB and HIV experience.  Fully Bilingual (Spanish-English). Prior management experience, preferred.   Two years prior work in the Latino community, preferred.  Phone call only. Psychiatrist (Part-time) Bilingual
Position Emphasis: The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations/ treatment to La Clinica’s Mental Health and Substance Abuse clients; provide ongoing psychiatric services and follow up to patients evaluated and diagnosed as in need of psychotropics; provide consultations to mental health staff working with patients; perform medication follow-up on patients; prepare evaluation reports, respond to emergencies and keep progress notes.  Minimum Education Requirement:  MD or DO from an accredited Medical or Osteopathic SchoolMinimum Qualifications:  Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.  Must possess a current license or be eligible to obtain a license to practice psychiatry in the District of Columbia.  Minimum 2 years of experience working with multiple Latino populations including GLTB, and Transgender populations.  Experience providing general psychiatric care with Latinos exhibiting PTSD, Substance Abuse and HIV/AIDS related symptoms,   Fully Bilingual (Spanish-English). Ability to do forensic evaluations preferred.   Qualified candidates will possess excellent work ethics and communication skills. Salary Range: $110,671 – $127,825 (full-time equivalent).  Closing Date:  Until Filled (Interviews on going).
