Chief Development Officer - Bilingual (Full-time)
Posted: Friday, May 22, 2009Position Emphasis: Responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive private /public sector fundraising program on behalf of the La Clínica. Manages grants and contracts to maintain services availability; provides direct supervision of department staff, managing the day-to-day and post-award functions of the department; oversees grant and contract-funded program activities, sub-agreements, development and negotiations; and assists department directors and staff with preparing budgets. Manages all media and public relations and fundraising activities, coordinating donor relations and events.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree.
Minimum Qualifications: Five years of combined experiences in fund development, grant writing, and/or program development and budget development. Bilingual, Spanish-English. Two years of supervising programs, projects and staff. Ability to communicate, both written and spoken, with tact and diplomacy. Ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Two years prior work in Latino community preferred. MS Office. Internet research experience.
Salary Range: $68,189 - $78,417; plus benefits.
