Mental Health & Substance Abuse Department Director - Bilingual (Full-time)
Posted: Friday, May 22, 2009Position Emphasis: The Mental Health & Substance Abuse (MH&SA) Department Director will oversee the mental health and substance abuse department to ensure that efficient and quality health care services are provided. Responsible for the direction, administration, and supervision of all facets of the department.
Minimum Education Requirement: Masters degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field.
Minimum Qualifications: Licensed in the District of Columbia in respective field. Two years managerial experience in a mental health or social services program or five years providing direct service. Previous budget management experience. Minimum two years experience working with immigrants and displaced populations in the field of mental health & substance Abuse. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work with individuals from a wide variety of racial, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Two years prior work in Latino community preferred. Bilingual, Spanish-English. MS Office experience.
Salary: $64,115 - $73,732.
