Director of Finance - Bilingual preferred (Full-time)
Posted: Friday, May 22, 2009Position Emphasis: Provides leadership to the LCDP's Finance & Accounting team in managing financial and accounting policies, systems, controls and procedures, regulatory requirements, payroll systems and processes, budget management functions. Provides support to the development of the annual business plan to allow La Clínica to carry out its mission.
Minimum Education Requirement: BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; with CPA Certification and/or MBA preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five years experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, with at least, two years prior experience in health care financial management and other business matters of non-profit organizations. Experiences with FQHC financial management and regulations preferred. Knowledge of Federal and state financial regulations. Experience with finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge and experience with automated financial and accounting systems. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Experiences with FQHC financial management and regulations preferred. Proven ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability or cost accounting analysis. Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred. MS Excel expertise or other spreadsheet computer software.
Salary Range: $60,040 - $69,046.
